The Team Leader plays a key leadership role in the development and administration of consulting staff and Consulting Support Services (CSS) compensation programs across offices in the Americas. In this high visibility position, the Team Leader:
* Promotes and educates staff about compensation programs, policies, implementation plans, and communications
* Acts as resource to Americas HR Managers and Directors for complex issues regarding compensation programs, policies, implementation plans, and communications
* Assists in the development and design of compensation programs and policies
* Provides expertise and assistance to Compensation Analysts as well as for special projects
* Identifies and recommends improvements and efficiencies around compensation processes, reporting, and support initiatives
* Teams with Global, Regional and local HR leadership/teams to design compensation programs for CSS staff in the Americas
* Recommends/costs-out options associated with creating attractive and highly competitive compensation packages/elements (base, bonus, profit sharing, LTI, recognition programs)
* Monitors trends and best practices in the rewards arena, and makes recommendations for changes/updates
* Leads the annual Americas CSS compensation benchmarking process; researches, analyzes, and recommends compensation ranges, grade levels, and job titles
* Works collaboratively with Global Compensation team members to manage annual fall benchmarking process to inform compensation budgeting guidelines
* Advises local offices on job evaluation methodologies and cross calibrates jobs in region to ensure consistent application
* Creates, updates, and distributes compensation communication materials to Americas HR Managers
* Leads the Americas year-end consulting compensation process, including assisting with design/maintenance of year-end compensation model, strategic analysis of year-end data, and coordination with Finance on year-end budget projections
* Manages profit sharing programs, including eligibility rules, tracking of accruals, and vestings
Qualifications for the Team Leader role include:
* Bachelor’s Degree with 4 to 6 years of corporate compensation-related experience, with experience managing people preferred
* Detailed knowledge of U.S. FLSA regulations; proven capability for successfully driving the evaluation process, including directly engaging and advising line management
* Knowledge of quantitative job evaluation methodologies, including point factor method
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and project management skills
* Strong analytical, problem solving, and quantitative skills
* Extensive knowledge and experience building complex compensation models using MS Excel
* Strong knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint, with knowledge of SharePoint a plus
* Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional/mature manner with a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
* Self-starter with strong organization skills; proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
